Welcome to First/Second Grade
My name is Mrs. Lowenthal and I’m thrilled to be starting my sixth year as a teacher at Hancock Elementary School. Though I have been here for quite a while, I am excited to continue my adventure with the HES students. I am pictured here with one of my favorite vegetables! Beets!!! I have previously taught kindergarten as well as second grade. I’m in a great position to understand where your child has come from and where they will be heading both socially and academically.
Click here to go to my classroom website. This website is an effective means of communicating with Hancock families. There you will find my newsletters, photographs, videos, and some student work. Be sure to check out my educational links.
This photograph was taken at the Sharon Arts Center in Peterborough, NH. We were on a school-wide field trip. We enjoyed having mixed age levels that day. The children enjoyed getting to know friends across grade levels.
Other Websites you will enjoy!
I’ve looked over these and they appear to be useful. The spell city cite has games. You can type spelling words into a list and the site will generate a variety of games. Rather than overwhelm everyone, let’s take a look at these for starts.
If you know of any websites that you enjoy with your children please drop me an e-mail and I’ll add them to this list!
Please stay in touch and always feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you have. Email is the best way to contact me. I check it often. And of course if you need to speak to me immediately, please call the school. Mrs. Adams will get a message to me and I’ll be right back in touch.
